CollectionsComo un drama potente, funciona bien, hay talento detrás de la dirección y las actuaciones. El problema, es que Shia LaBeouf mintió sobre el filme y exageró muchas de las cosas que se ven en la presente, sumándole la controvertida figura que se había convertido hace años y como su persona no es bien vista hoy, haciendo de Honey Boy, una sucia mentira.
Personalmente dejarle la 2.5 estrellas es ser muy amable y porque funcionó conmigo en su día, y porque su directora tiene gancho.

(A review of Cat People)Remake que no tiene nada que envidiarle a la película de los 40's y tampoco debería hacerlo, esta es más horny y más sanguinaria; debería ser más recordada esta película de Schrader, además de tener a una Natassia Kinski y Malcolm McDowell en su esplendor.

(A review of Ready Player One)Literatura divertida, llena de referencias que harán sonreír al lector, y un mundo atractivo, junto a una trama y personajes básico, pero bien llevados, Ready Player One es simplemente disfrutable.

(A review of Ghost In The Shell (25th Anniversary Edition))Tengo la edición Steelbook, pero el disco es el mismo, aunque la calidad de la película está aceptable para un blu-ray, deja que desear, sobretodo porque no hay material adicional y subs en otros idiomas.

(A review of Area 51)Jodidamente soporífera sucesora de Actividad Paranormal, sufriendo de muchos de los errores que se pueden cometer en una película, no es emocionante, no es memorable, no es acogedora, y quizás algo interesante para lo polémica que era antes de que viera la luz, Area 51 es un truño.

Ixcanul (2015) review

(A review of Ixcanul (2015))Producto guatemalteco bastante hermoso.
Utiliza la ya usada historia de -coming at age-, pero de una manera bastante realista con unos toques de fantasía como los chapines entendemos. Si bien no la enaltece un pacing bien lento y escenas que parecen ser extendidas sin algun otro propósito, lo demás augura una cinta bastante notable y destacada. Una de pocas películas guatemaltecas que se llevan esos honores.
